An excellent feature of Word for Microsoft 365 is opening PDF files and editing them by using all the standard Word proofing tools. There is actually no Microsoft PDF Editor or Microsoft PDF Writer, however, you can still edit a PDF in Microsoft Office. Word will automatically convert the PDF into an editable Word document. Be aware of these limitations so you can plan for the outcome and make adjustments as needed. Office 2010 provided the option to save a document as PDF, but Microsoft Word 2013 even allows editing of the content before sending it to the final recipient, as a PDF file. In Word, head to File > Open and then navigate to the PDF file that you’d like to edit. These additional text blocks often land in the middle of paragraphs or tagged on to the end.
